Introduction of Biomass Briquetting
Biomass briquetting plant can make cylinder,hexagon or square shapes bimass briquettes, the diameters of final biomass briquettes range from 30mm to 100mm or even bigger. Usually this biomass briquetting plant include crushing machine, drying machine, biomass briquette press and packing machine.
Process of Briquetting:
1. Crushing machine prepare suitable size raw material for biomass briquetting plant. According to different raw material, users should use suitable crushers. Hammer mill is to crush small sized material with diameter no more than 50mm. Such like tree branck, tree trimmings, wood chips, wood cuttings, cotton stalk, corn stalk, wheat straw etc. Plate type crusher is to crush tree logs with diameter less than 200mm to 3-5mm at any length.
2. Drying machine prepare suitable moisture raw material for biomass briquette press. For briquetting press, it is only to control the moisture of raw material at a reasonable range that can make good reasult of biomass briquettes. Or the briquettes will be broken because of too loose or too dry.
3. Biomass Briquette Press make the biomass material into briquettes. After the well preparement of raw metarial, briquetting is easy at right operation of biomass briquette press. When machine rise to over 300 centigrade, the material can be feeding continuously into briquetting press. First, the color of briquettes may be a little dark even black, but after a while, the color will be light to normal level coming out of biomass briquette machine.
4. Packing machine pack final biomass briquettes for commercial reselling. They can be wrapped with a layer of plastic film. By thermal shrink wrapping machine, biomass briuqttes can be packing into a bundle tidily.

Moisture Content: 8-12%

Crushing Machine
Crushing machines are used to crush agro-forestry waste into suitable size before drying and briquetting.There are two types of crushing machine that are fitted to different types of raw materials.
Dryer
For raw materials with high moisture content above 12%, you need a drier (or dry it under sun) to decrease the moisture to 8-12% before feeding them into biomass briquetting press.
Biomass Briquette Press
This is a screw type biomass briquette machine without use of binder, it can produce good density briquette of cylinder, hexagon or square shapes as biofuel for briquettes boilers, stove and open fires.
